Worldly sells for $200,000; Schumer Bloodstock profiled in TDN

His sale saw him jointly top the eighth session of the Keeneland November Sale alongside Bella Felicita.

Worldly, a 6yo son of A P Indy out of Grade 1 winner Urbane, was purchased privately by Chad Schumer in May. Turned over to Brendan Walsh, he went on to earn $123,398 for his new connections.

Following his sale, Schumer Bloodstock was profiled by the TDN.

“It’s a story that a lot of bloodstock agents can relate to: A client is looking for a horse. You find a horse. You pay for the horse. The client no longer wants the horse.

“It’s a hazard of the job, and usually the story end with the horse being sold to someone else, often at a loss to the agent. But for the Louisville-based agent Chad Schumer, the story didn’t end with a loss. Instead, it ended with a trip to the Breeders’ Cup, and on Tuesday at Keeneland November, a $200,000 sale.”
