In the past few years, Schumer Bloodstock has purchased the dams of the following horses BEFORE they were STAKES WINNERS of 2018 - 19:

My Boy Jack, an excellent 5th in the Kentucky Derby following wins in the G3 Southwest and G3 Lexington Stakes; his dam was purchased in 2016 for $8,000

Soldier's Call, top-class British 2yo is the winner of last year's G2 Flying Childers Stakes, the G3 Prix d'Arenberg and Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. As a 2yo, he was also a close 3rd against older horses in the G1 Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp; his dam was purchased for $15,000 in 2014

Madras Check, recent Listed Hosu Stakes winner on the Japanese Oaks undercard; her dam Gloat was purchased for $550,000 in 2015

Jennifer, recent 10-length winner of a stakes in Saudi Arabia; her dam Gunforhome for purchased for $22,000 in 2015

Rayya, last year's G3 UAE Oaks winner and a leading fancy for the Kentucky Oaks; her dam was purchased for $2,200

Exoteric, a two-time Listed winner for Chris Waller in Australia just weeks following the sale of his dam Short Dance for $6,000 in November 2018 to Schumer Bloodstock

 

Schumer Bloodstock also purchased, Shooting Party, the granddam of KENTUCKY DERBY winner COUNTRY HOUSE and G3 Gallorette Stakes winner Mitchell Road, for $50,000

 

In addition to the dams of stakes winners WELDER (dam purchased for $22,000), GIANNA'S DREAM (dam purchased for $10,000), BLACK STETSON (dam purchased for $45,000), SPRING STEEN (dam purchased for $35,000) and PRINCE OF HEMPT (dam purchased for $20,000) in addition to the stakes-placed Kelly's Humor (G1-placed; $12,000), Cardini (a G2-placed 2yo of 2018 for Aidan O'Brien; $31,000), Madras Check ($550,000), Pipes ($24,000) and Salt Bae ($45,000; her dam Agatha was also represented by a $700,000 yearling in 2018).

 

Recent stakes performers who were bought as yearlings include: G3 winner SAHAM (bought for $100,000); ES'HAIL, 3rd in the G1 Qatar Derby and winner of the Very Nice Name Cup at Doha, Qatar (bought for $70,000); Swedish Champion VICTOR KALEJS (bought for $10,000); Listed-placed RUA AUGUSTA (bought for $22,000) etc

 

Other G1 winners include:

Kip Deville, multiple G1 winner including the Breeders’ Cup Mile; his dam was purchased for $6,000. Further, Kip Deville was from the second crop of Kipling, who was retired to stand at Mighty Acres in Oklahoma in a deal brokered by Chad Schumer

Keen Ice, who defeated American Pharoah in the G1 Travers Stakes and now stands at Calumet Farm in Kentucky; his dam was purchased for $80,000 at Keeneland

Stormy Lucy, winner of the 2015 G1 Matriarch Stakes; her dam was purchased for $32,000

Breeders' Cup Distaff winner Round Pond, a multiple G1 winner of over $1,900,000; her dam was purchased for $20,000

Rahy's Attorney, winner of the G1 Woodbine Mile with earnings over $1,000,000; his dam was purchased for only $8,000

Thorn Song, dual G1 winner of over $1,000,000; his dam was purchased for the Equine Mutual Funds partnership for only $26,000

Australian Champion Fashions Afield, G1 winner and earner of over AUS$1,974,000; her dam was purchased privately off the racetrack

Akheel, winner of the King Abdulaziz Cup (KSA G1); his dam was purchased for $17,000

Great Minds, winner of the G3 Texas Mile Stakes; his dam was purchased for $16,000

Jennifer Lynnette, winner of the G3 Royal North Stakes, 2017; her dam was purchased for $210,000

Kasuga, who ran second to Jennifer Lynnette in the G3 Royal North Stakes, 2017; her dam was purchased for $15,000

G3-placed Galton; his dam was purchased for $27,000

Current 3yo Queen’s Fate, a recent narrow second in the Royal Lassie Stakes; her dam was purchased for $15,000 in 2017

Unbeaten Just One More Stakes winner Third Party; his dam was purchased for $80,000

Barbecue Eddie, a G2 winner at Meydan; his dam was purchased as a broodmare prospect for $35,000

Crown of Thorns, G2 winner and one of the early favorites for the 2008 Kentucky Derby; his dam was purchased for only $33,000

Don Cavallo, winner of the G3 Dominion Day Stakes; his dam was purchased for $17,000

Japanese G3 winner Siberian Meadow; his dam was purchased for $32,000

Zada Belle, who with her win at Santa Anita ran the co-fastest Beyer speed figure for a 2YO filly in North America in 2008. Subsequently a stakes winner at Saratoga and G2-placed, she was purchased privately by Sheikh Mohammed's Darley Stables for a reported $3,000,000. Her dam was purchased at Keeneland for $47,000
