Stakes win for Texas Belle; sire and dam Schumer purchases

Texas Belle, whose sire Angliana and dam Inthemiddleofitall were both purchased by Schumer Bloodstock, took her earnings to over $220,000 on Sunday with victory in the Miss Houston Turf Stakes at Sam Houston.

The ten-time winner was bred by Eureka Thoroughbred Farm and races for owner Richard Chandler.

A Grade 1-placed son of Giant’s Causeway, Angliana (pictured) stood at Eureka Thoroughbred Farm in Texas. He was later sold to stand in Libya.

Inthemiddleofitall, a $55,000 Keeneland November Sale purchase by Chad Schumer, is also the dam of stakes winners Concerto’s Crown and Slew Motion as well as the Grade 3-placed Zoebear.
