M2 Transport, in conjunction with Schumer Bloodstock Agency, is pleased to announce a recently awarded contract for the exclusive listing rights to solicit offers for the purchase of an undivided 20% interest in CURLIN.
The interest in Curlin (pictured above, photo courtesy of Lane’s End Farm) will be sold alongside four annual breeding rights.
Champion Curlin (Smart Strike – Sherriff’s Deputy) is already the sire of three Graded stakes winners in 2015; Stellar Wind, recent 5 1/4 length winner of the Santa Anita Oaks (G1) at Santa Anita Park, Diversy Harbor, winner of the Buena Vista Handicap (G2) at Santa Anita Park, and Ocean Knight, winner of Sam F. Davis Stakes (G3) at Tampa Bay Downs.

Curlin ended 2014 as a top ten general active North American sire and the leading third-crop sire. He was represented at auction last year by a filly out of Leslie’s Lady who sold for $1,100,000 to Bridlewood Farm at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
Curlin stands at Lane’s End Farm in Kentucky for $35,000.
Curlin retired to stud in 2009 as the highest North American money earner of all time with $10,501,800 banked over two seasons. He won 11 of 16 starts including the Preakness Stakes (G1), Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1), Dubai World Cup (G1), Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1 – twice), Stephen Foster Handicap (G1) and Woodward Stakes (G1).
Curlin was crowned Horse of the Year in 2007 and 2008. He was also the Champion 3yo Colt of 2007, the Champion Older Male of 2008 and the Champion Older Male in the UAE of 2008. He was inducted into the National Museum of Racing’s Hall of Farm in 2014.
