Saham breaks maiden; Harmonic runs fourth in El Camino Real Derby

Also on Saturday, three-year-old Harmonic closed impressively from the rear to run fourth in the El Camino Real Derby (G3) at Golden Gate.

The son of Congrats is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer on behalf of a partnership that includes John Philips, Robert Hammond, Rick Awtrey and Chad Schumer.

Harmonic, who broke his maiden at Golden Gate in January, was purchased as a foal by Chad Schumer with Darby Dan Farm for $87,000 at Keeneland in November 2012.
