Repeat stakes win for Save Big Money mare
Consistent racemare Inagoodway repeated in the More Than Even Stakes at Will Rogers on Tuesday, scoring by a length in the contest over Fiddlers Tsunami.
The daughter of Save Big Money, who was purchased by Chad Schumer as a stallion prospect on behalf of Mighty Acres, boosted her record to eight wins for close to $280,000 in earnings. Her previous victories included last year’s Oklahoma Classics Distaff Stakes as well as the More Than Even Stakes.
Inagoodway was bred by Mike Castor in Oklahoma out of the Devil His Due mare Truth Takes Time, another Schumer Bloodstock purchase.
The mare is one of 46 winners by Save Big Money, a stakes-placed Storm Cat brother to G1 winner Mr. Sidney who stands at Mighty Acres in Oklahoma for $1,500.
Chad also purchased the dam of the third home Diva’s Rule, Four Plus Four, on behalf of Mike Grossman for $11,000 at the 2011 OBS October Sale.
