Perfect start for Schumer pinhook Indy Humor in Europe
Indy Humor, a Schumer Bloodstock pinhook who sold for £260,000 as an Arqana breezer in May, made the perfect start to his racing career on Sunday when running away with his debut at Bro Park.
Despite being a half-brother to two G1 horses – Silentio and No Name – Chad was able to pick the colt up privately for $20,000 after he failed to sell for $25,000 as a Keeneland September yearling. He is out of the A.P. Indy mare Listen A P.
Prepped to perfection by John Cullinan and Roger Marley, the colt went on to turn a mighty profit when selling for £260,000 to Peter and Ross Doyle, acting on behalf of owner Stall Perlan and trainer Wido Neuroth.
“The owner wants to win the Swedish Derby and this colt will be trained in Oslo by Norway’s champion trainer Wido Neuroth,” Peter Doyle told the TDN at the time of his sale – judging by the start he made on Sunday, that ambition might just be in sight.
