A GOOD run for Schumer Bloodstock’s Saudi Arabian clients continued on Saturday when Scandalous Act captured the $300,000 My Dear Girl Stakes at Calder Casino & Racetrack to sweep the female division of the Florida Stallion Stakes.

Gilbert G. Campbell’s homebred is a daughter of former Bridlewood Farm stallion Act Of Duty (pictured), who was purchased by Schumer Bloodstock to continue his stud career in Saudi Arabia in 2011.

Her success follows on the heels of Ron The Greek’s winning romp in the Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup and Little Mike’s win in the Grade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational Stakes; their sires Full Mandate (pictured below) and Spanish Steps were both purchased by Schumer Bloodstock to stand in Saudi Arabia earlier this year.

Three length debut Saratoga win for 2yo son of $5,000 mare

BELLY Of The Whale inhaled his competitors to run out the three-length winner of his debut, an $80,000 MSW at Saratoga on Wednesday. The colt is out of Group 3 winner Miss Nashwan (pictured), who was purchased by Schumer Bloodstock on behalf of Lannister Holdings for $5,000 at this year’s Keeneland January Sale.

$100,000 stakes win for daughter of Limes ‘N Lemons

SUMMER stakes success continues to come the way of Schumer Bloodstock. On Saturday, it was the turn of Limes ‘N Lemons, whose daughter, Ms Anna Destiny, closed in on the $200,000 mark with victory in the $100,000 West Virgina Secretary Of State Stakes at Mountaineer Park. The mare is out of Limes ‘N Lemons, who was purchased by Chad Schumer as agent for $22,000 at the 2011 Keeneland November Sale.
