Grade 1 Winner Latent Heat Relocating To Oklahoma

Latent Heat (Maria’s Mon – True Flare, by Capote) won the 2006 running of the Grade 1 Malibu defeating top horses such as champion Midnight Lute, Da Stoops, Brother Derek, Arson Squad and Spring At Last.  He also won Grade 2 San Carlos Handicap and finished his racing career with over $450,000 in earnings.

The 9-year-old Latent Heat moves into the number two spot on the Oklahoma Leading Sires list with progeny earnings of over $1.5 million in 2012. His current runners include graded stakes placed Jamaican Smoke and True Feelings, stakes winner Softly Lit and stakes placed Ciguaraya.
