A filly is the first foal by the popular New York stallion Redesdale out of the stakes-winning, graded stakes-placed mare Rgirldoesn’tbluff, by Pine Bluff.
The filly was born on Chris Bernhard’s Hidden Lake Farm near Stillwater, N.Y. Redesdale is a son of Speightstown out of the Danzig mare Harpia, who is a full sister to Danehill.
Further back, it is the family of Northern Dancer himself.
Redesdale was a dominating winner of his first three starts with 90-plus Beyer Speed Figures in each but was injured and retired in his fourth start, the Commonwealth Stakes (G3) at Keeneland, while still running a 91 Beyer.
Redesdale stands at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds for $5,000 on a live-foal guarantee.
He covered 81 mares in 2019.
