E Dubai to relocate to Elite Thoroughbreds in Louisiana

Fort Larned, an earner of over $4.4 million, heads a list of 32 stakes winners by E Dubai. A ten-time winner over four seasons of racing, Fort Larned was successful in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1), Whitney Invitational Handicap (G1) and Stephen Foster Handicap (G1) before entering stud this season at Adena Springs in Kentucky.

Other stand-out performers by E Dubai include High Heels, winner of the Fantasy Stakes (G2) and third in the Kentucky Oaks (G1), My Gi Gi, winner of the Honeymoon Handicap (G2) and second in the American Oaks (G1) and Accredit, winner of the Churchill Downs Stakes (G2).

A truly international sire, E Dubai is also responsible for Italian champion One More Dubai, Skysurfers, winner of the Godolphin Mile (G2) at Meydan in Dubai and stakes-placed in Britain, Sea Ruler, winner of the S A Poonawalla Million (G2) at Pune in India, and Ego, winner of the Concorde Handicap (G2) at Ellerslie in New Zealand.

“I think I speak for Michelle Rodriguez and the whole team at Elite, when saying how delighted we are to offer such a high calibre stallion to Louisiana breeders in E Dubai,” said Chad Schumer.

“Rarely does a stallion that has sired the winner of America’s richest race, the Breeders Cup Classic, stand for such a reasonable fee outside of Kentucky.”

E Dubai (Mr Prospector – Words Of War by Lord At War) was a high-class performer for Saeed bin Suroor and Godolphin, winning five of 11 starts and $920,800 in prize-money.

A 5f debut winner at Del Mar as a two-year-old, he returned at three to take the Dwyer Stakes (G2) at Belmont Park in a track-record time of 1.40.38 after leading through fractions of :22.26, :44.09, 1:07.93 and 1:33.54. At four, he successfully stretched out to 10f to defeat Lido Palace and Macho Uno in the Suburban Handicap (G2) at Belmont Park.

E Dubai also ran second in the Travers Stakes (G1), to Point Given, and Super Derby (G1).
