Brave performance by Worldly to run third in Breeders’ Cup Marathon
“Wow, that was a long way out there,” said David Flores. “I kept him in the clear on the outside because this is a horse that does not like dirt in his face. Being outside did not cost him the race. He ran a big race and just had that one other horse (London Bridge) run by the two of us.”
Worldly is a real credit to second season trainer Brendan Walsh; the 6yo has bankrolled $123,398 since being turned over to his barn and has not been out of the first three in four starts.
In all, he has won three races and $422,319.
Worldly could made his next appearance in the Keeneland November Sale in Kentucky as lot 2423. Catalogued as a racing or stallion prospect, Worldly will be sold by St George Sales.
