Blame The Ruler looks promising at Clairefontaine

Blame The Ruler, bred by Lannister Holdings out of Schumer Bloodstock European purchase Blameless, looked a nice filly in the making on Monday for owner Arturo Cousino when breaking her maiden at Clairefontaine.

Blame The Ruler: the first foal out of Goffs purchase Blameless

Making only her second start for John Hammond, Blame The Ruler made smooth progress from off the pace to win going away under Ronan Thomas.

The daughter of Ruler Of The World is the first foal out of Blameless, an Authorized half-sister to the Group 3-placed Criza who is out of Chilean champion Crystal House.

This is an excellent Chilean family that goes back to another champion and blue hen Cristalline.

Blameless was bought for just €22,000 by Schumer Bloodstock at the 2014 Goffs November Sale.

She is also the dam of a Night Of Thunder colt, Acquitted, who made €60,000 at last year’s Goffs Orby Sale and is now in training with Hugo Palmer.
