Another impressive stakes victory for Ms Anna Victory
The Anabaa mare challenged four wide on the turn and quickened clear to win by 4 1/2 lengths in the colours of Lloyd Schwing Racing LLC. Ms Anna Destiny brought her career standings to eight wins from 23 starts for nearly $250,000 in earnings.
Bred by Edward Gamble, Ms Anna Destiny is the fifth foal out of Limes ‘N Lemons, a Deputy Minister half-sister to the Grade 1-placed Plenty Of Sugar who is also the dam of the stakes-placed and $300,000 earner Lemons Of Love (Not For Love).
She was purchased for $22,000 by Chad Schumer as agent at Keeneland in 2011 out of the Gainesway consignment in foal to Sky Mesa. Her two-year-old Empire Maker filly was subsequently sold at Fasig-Tipton for $170,000 to Bradley Thoroughbreds.
