The Saratoga select yearling sale's top priced offering at $ 1,400,000, he was purchased as a stallion prospect for Center Hills Farm in Oklahoma. A winner of over $ 100,000 on the track, Kipling is off to a sensational start at stud, counting current Grade 1 Breeders Cup Mile winner Kip Deville ($ 2,400,000) and Graded stakes placed $ 400,000+ earner Dreamsandvisions among runners from his early crops. This success has been achieved from inexpensive stud fees in Arkansas and Oklahoma and from regional mares. The dam of his G1 winner was purchased by us for only $ 6,000 at the Ocala Breeders Sales Company.
In an historic move, Kipling is the first stallion to be moved FROM Oklahoma to Kentucky. A half interest was purchased by prominent Central Kentucky farms Three Chimneys and Crestwood, at which he will stand. This deal was also brokered by Schumer Bloodstock.
