Race Summary
WRITINGONTHEWALL took control leaving the starting gate on his own courage, set the fractions while racing off the inside, extended his advantage when asked for a bit more after entering the stretch, had the rider glance back twice for potential competition, found none in view, then was confidently handled during the final sixteenth. BAZZOOM unhurried during the opening stages, was fanned six wide entering the stretch, continued on willingly to gain the place. DAZZLING DEREK raced along the outside, was outfinished for the place. COMMISSIONER CHRIS had no rally. RING BERNADETTE chased the leader for six furlongs before backing off. SIX GUN was never involved. TOP LEADER saved ground and tired after racing three quarters. FORTUNE FADED attempted to draft behind the top one, was through after a half.
